Student Reports and Class Placements
Just a reminder that Student Reports, Class Placements and 2020 Materials and Services Charges will be distributed to families on Friday, 6th December. Optional interviews are also available to families by request, if clarification regarding your child's report is needed. Please contact your child's teacher to arrange a suitable time during week 9.
New Class Visits
On Tuesday, 10th December at 10am, students will be visiting their new classes and meeting their new teachers and peers. This is an exciting time for students and teachers and is essential to ensure a smooth transition into 2020.
Informing Our Community
'Informing Our Community' (attached below) provides an outline of key interactions that are available to the school community throughout 2020. It is hoped that this document will strengthen our sense of belonging and pride in our school. Further details about these interactions will be provided closer to them occurring.
We ask that all families add to their diaries Thursday 6th February 2020 for our Community Night - Building Connections. This is an informal evening where families will have the opportunity to meet staff and build positive connections within the school community. Further details will be available in the Week 0 Welcome Back Newsletter.
Student Free Day
Governing Council has approved the first of 4 Student Free Days for 2020, on Friday 7th February. Staff will be continuing our work on the Site Improvement Plan.
2020 Annual General Meeting
The 2020 Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday 10th February at 6:30pm in the Staff Room. Further details will be outlined early next year.
Communication Policy
Effective communication is essential in providing students, teachers, parents and the community with the necessary information to make appropriate decisions.
Lockleys North Primary School is committed to using communication processes and techniques that aim to build a positive learning environment for students, staff and parents in order to inspire and educate all students to succeed in becoming productive and valued citizens.
