Year 5/6 News

Division Netball Competition

On Tuesday the 19th of July, 11 students competed in Division Netball. The students that competed were Leah, Ava, Baileigh, Kate, Mia W, Maddy, Riley, Kaleb, Holly, Lily and Oscar. We went over to the courts and got ready to play seven games!

We played all seven games and, sadly, we lost all of them. There were some games that were very close but, in the others, we lost by a lot.

We had some parent helpers that helped transport us there and back.

There was a presentation at the end that awarded the winning teams. There were girl’s teams and mixed teams. We congratulated the winning teams and then went back to school.

Overall, it was an amazing and fun day, and everyone enjoyed it!
