Recycle Station at School

Remember we have a recycling station near the front office.  Bins available to recycle items into at our waste station are:

  • Printer cartridges
  • Batteries (no batteries smaller than AAA)
  • Mobile Phones
  • Small Electronic items. eg: mouse, keyboard, charger,  (NOT electrical eg:hairdryer, razor)
  • Plastic Breadtags
  • Disposable Face Masks
  • Dental items - please ensure toothpaste tubes are clean
  • Writing Instruments (does not accept pencils, crayons, glue sticks, erasers, rulers or sharp objects)

There are also a number of other ways to recycle household items:

Sports shoes or active wear can be recycled through the program Tread Lightly.

https://treadlightly.asga.com.au/. So remember next time you want to throw your old shoes out, find a location on their website and drop off your pair of old shoes to recycle them into other reusable products. You can also ask the shop where you buy your next pair of shoes if they have a recycle program for your old shoes.
