Book in a Day

On Wednesday 3rd of August, 10 students from Year 6 participated in the Kids Cancer Project, ‘Write a Book in a Day’ competition which raises much needed funds for childhood cancer research. A fun, creative and collaborative competition, students have just twelve hours to write and illustrate a book from start to finish. Digital editions of the completed stories are made available through an Online Library and shared with hospitals across Australia.  Solway can be extremely proud of the efforts of our students who worked diligently from 8am till 8pm to complete their narrative ‘Journey into the Rabbit Hole. Winners will be announced in November!
