This week the Year 12 General Plant Production students set up their barley germination investigation. This genetically modified barley has a recessive trait that can germinate Albino seedlings. 

Students are making predictions about the germination rate of the Albino barley and how this could effect the yield of a crop in an enterprise.  The data collected from all three General classes will be tabled and graphed before students will discuss their analysis in their assessment task due early next term.
