Lunchtime Clubs

DJ & BEATS CLUB

When: Fridays 12:50 – 1:25 

Where: APAC2

Teacher in charge: Mr Maloney

 

Anybody interested in DJ’ing, Beat-Making, Music Production, and Hardware & DAW’s, this is the Club for you!

It has been great fun to see many students at the DJ & Beats Club. Your willingness to learn and teach each other, courage to give it a go, and your positive energy has been awesome!

So far, students have used an array of hardware and software such as:

  • Numark Mixtrack Pro 3 – Serato DJ Lite
  • Native Instruments Maschine Mikro MK3 w/ Maschine software and expansions
  • Pioneer CLUB5
  • FL Studio v20 and a range of VST’s
  • Audio Technica ATH-M50x

Upon our return-to-school, students will also have the opportunity to use of the following:

  • Reloop 7000MK2 Gold Turntables – Limited Edition (2 of 1500 ever made)
  • Native Instruments Traktor Kontrol Z2 Mixer w/ Traktor Pro 3
  • Numark PT-01 Scratch
  • Novation Launchkey 49 MK2 & Launchpad MK2

Rainbow Club

When: Wednesday Lunchtime

Where: APAC 1

Teacher in charge: Mr Eriksen

 

Every Wednesday Lunchtime LGBTQ+ Students and their friends are welcome to meet in APAC 1.  It’s a space for students to hang out, meet other students and get support.  In Term 3 the weekly meetings will change from Wednesday, so keep an eye on Compass. Video Game Club

When: Friday Lunchtime

Where: MP 2

Teacher in Charge: Mr Eriksen

 

On Friday Lunchtimes students come to MP2 to play games on their laptops or devices, chat with others, or play on the weekly console. Multiplayer games such as Marvel vs Capcom 3, Mario Kart 8 and Smash Bros. are popular with students.  All students are welcome!  See Mr Ericksen for more details.

Dungeons & Dragons Club

 When: Wednesday lunchtime

Where: MPA3

Teacher in charge: Mr Heading

 

The Dungeons & Dragons club is a space for students to run and participate in RPG sessions each week. Mr Heading is happy to run beginner sessions for first-time players, but most groups organise themselves with their own GM. Anyone curious about D&D (or RPGS in general) is welcome to drop by!
