Thrive Empower Fund    

Purpose of Fund

The Northcote Thrive Empower Fund was established on 3 August 2017 as a necessitous circumstances fund registered with the Australian Tax office as a Deductible Gift Recipient Fund (Fund).

The Fund was set up to raise money for the relief of Northcote High School (NHS) students in need. Funds are used to provide money or goods to successful applicants who can demonstrate financial hardship. 

Examples of funded items

During 2020, the Thrive Fund supported students with purchasing essential items including: 

• Laptops & other devices
• Text books & stationary
• Uniform
• Myki passes
• Camps

Criteria for application of Fund

The Thrive Committee of Management will consider applications for support in relation to students:

1. Currently enrolled at Northcote High School; and
2. Who are an Australian Citizen or an Australian Permanent Resident; and
3. 3The student and/or their family is experiencing financial hardship

How to apply 

If you feel that you or your child (Applicant) will qualify for financial assistance from the Northcote Thrive - Empower Fund: 

1. Please download and complete the Application Form available on our website here;
2. Send completed application form and corresponding documentation to info@nhs.vic.edu.au

All applications and personal information is securely stored and confidential, only accessible by members of the Thrive Committee of Management.
