Mothers Day

Mums, Grandmas and Special Friends enjoyed a special Mother's Day Celebration in Primary of Friday afternoon.

Students made some wonderful gifts and cards to spoil their mum/grandma/special friends with.

On the Friday afternoon they also decorated biscuits for their special visitor and created some amazing bracelets and necklaces.

Foundation

Foundation & Year 1 students have been on a nature walk and wrote a recount about it once they got back to the classroom.

We went on a nature walk. The F/1 class was there at the back of the school. First, we went to the little Forest and we picked up rubbish, Next, we went to the chooks. Finally we played on the playground. It was so, so much fun! Suzen Musa

The Foundation/Year 1 students have also been focusing on patterns in Maths.

Miss Thornton bought in some bread, butter and sprinkles and the students followed a recipe to make Fairy Bread.

After making and eating the Fairy Bread they also wrote a ‘Recount’ of the activity.

Making Fairy Bread

On Tuesday the F/2 kids made Fairy bread in the green room to learn how to write recounts. First, we had to get all of the equipment. Then we buttered the bread and put the sprinkles on. Next we all ate fairy bread. I felt happy making Fairy bread. The Fairy bread was yum.
