Classroom News - Year 2

It's been a busy fortnight in Year 2 with lots of learning happening. 

Art Show

Year 2 completed some amazing artworks including; a self-portrait, creations that started with a single dot and flowers that represented line and colour. Congratulations to Zoe Murray and Hunter Humpheries who were awarded 'Highly Commended' for their artworks.

Athletics with Jay Stone

Year 2 have been busy practising their athletics skills with Jay Stone. We have been practising our shot-put, discus, long jump and high jump. It has been a lot of fun practising and learning new skills. 

Eisteddfod

On Wednesday, we participated in the St Mary's Stage One choir at the Eisteddfod at UNE. Everyone performed very well and should be proud of themselves!

Catholic Schools Week 

This week, Year 2 are celebrating Catholic Schools Week. We were each given a unique badge to help us celebrate the milestone of 200 years of Catholic Education in Australia.
