Classroom News - Year 1

In Year 1 we completed our unit about the Easter Season with Pentecost. We are learning about the Mass this coming week. In English, we continue to revise nouns, verbs and adjectives. We started learning about plurals and adding the suffix 's'. We are working on our Set 6 Tricky Words and please continue to revise tricky word sets 1-5.

In Maths we are learning about halves and quarters during our fractions unit. Next week we will be comparing how heavy objects are in Mass.

We have completed our family unit in History and during PE we have been playing old-fashioned games.
