From the Principal's desk

As we head into the holidays I thank the whole school community - students, parents/carers, and teachers for their contributions this term. It has been a term packed with many learning and extracurricular highlights. Our students today shared many of these highlights with the school at assembly. This included cross country, winter sports, making pizzas, Earn and Learn, transition activities with the kinder and the secondary college and lots of opportunities to shine in learning.

Parents and Friend's initiative in starting up The Book Club again has been well received by our community and we now have loads of new books in homes.

Breakfast Club has really picked up pace this term and it has been great to have Rotarians in our school supporting our children so that they have a healthy start to the school day. Our homework Club will continue to operate from 3.30 - 5.30 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  There are places available for Term 3. The next round of funding for setting up an after school care program will open next term and I think we are well placed to seek support in setting this up for 2022.

Everyone enjoy your break. Keep warm, keep safe and enjoy time with family.

Regards

Debbie Oliver
