YMCA Warragul Swim Teachers and Scholarships for training

Warragul Leisure Centre is happy to announce that it will be offering scholarships for swim teachers at our centre. This is a great opportunity for students over the age 16yrs of age as well as friends and parents of your school community to access swim teacher training that is a guaranteed pathway to paid employment. KPMG and FDM Group Technology Traineeships

Are you about to finish high school and want to pursue an exciting career in technology?

KPMG and FDM are collaborating to provide you with a path to launch your career, where you can gain meaningful skills, training and experience.

  • Our traineeship is a unique three-year opportunity that combines work and training, while being paid a salary. Earn while you learn!
  • Four days a week, you will work with FDM and KPMG to develop your technical skills and gain real work experience.
  • One day a week will be with a leading provider for education and training courses. You’ll join a fully funded, tailored learning program.

Ag Career Start

AgCAREERSTART is a 10-to-12-month gap year program designed to kick-start careers in agriculture (perfect for undecided Year 12 students). Participants must be 17-25 and will:

  • Get matched with a host-farmer anywhere in Australia based on their preferences, skills and interests (no prior experience in agriculture is needed- just a willingness to learn) 
  • Work and earn at award rates for 10-12 months (accommodation may be included) 
  • Receive free training- (participants decide what training they want), mentoring and ongoing support from the NFF during the gap year 
  • Enjoy access to industry events and a network of industry members and peers 

If students are interested in seeing how new technologies are shaping agriculture, learning about sustainable production, or experiencing the great outdoors, there are a range of farming experiences to suit their interests and skills.
