PHYSICAL EDUCATION 

We have had a fantastic year so far in Physical Education in 2022! We are extremely proud of how all students are demonstrating our school values of Respect, Responsibility, Resilience and Safety in the Physical Education setting. Along with our school values, PE lessons have a major focus on participation and sportsmanship. All students are doing an excellent job joining in with activities and games, demonstrating fair play and supporting each other with encouragement. 

Some of the highlights of this year include our athletics program where all year levels learned how to compete in various athletic events. The junior school learned athletics through our Little Athletics unit, and the middle/senior school practised and then tried out for each event, with the opportunity to represent our school at the District Athletics event. Having progressed through the district and division levels, we had four students represent Orchard Park at the regional level in their respective events. Congratulations to Tay, Koryom, Sadie and Wilson, we are super proud of you! 

All students have been participating in lots of new and exciting sports and games while learning new skills, such as the senior school learning all about golf! And it wouldn’t be a PE lesson without some crowd favourites, like Toilet Tiggy and Chinese Walls!
