5/6s Week 5

The grade 5/6 s have been navigating the remote learning landscape for a number of weeks now and students have become regular Google Meet participants. These meetings have been used to discuss  and share feedback with their peers as well as to share those moments that keep us all connected from home. I hear pets and snacks were popular additions to some class Google Meets.

Students were also asked to brave the autumn weather, with parental permission of course, to explore adaptations as part of our integrated unit and have recorded their findings as labelled illustrations. During reading sessions, students are using strategies to better understand new information while investigating Land Use in Australia over time.
