Everyday Maths
Maths is a broad subject with many concepts and topics. Your child will have lessons in all of these areas over the course of the year and you can support their mathematical development by discussing mathematics and engaging in everyday mathematical activities at home and when out and about. It is easier for children to understand maths when they relate it to something real and see it as part of “everyday life”.
