Here are some photos of year 7 French students who are exploring different ways of learning a language- through games and visual representations of their vocabulary learning. The little snakes are from Term 1 and the longer ones are more recent. Notice Katerina, so far the winner! Almost 500 words in French!

Here are some photos of Madame Schroffel's Year 7 students singing in French. Learning French through music is a fantastic way to improve listening skills and learn lots of new vocabulary.

Japanese

The Year 12 Japanese class attended the Year 12 morning, an exam information session organised by the Japanese Teachers’ Association of Victoria. They were able to get information on the written and oral exams awaiting them in Term 4. In particular, they saw interesting and useful examples of oral exams and they also received information about possible tertiary pathways using their Japanese skills.
