The Round Up

https://www.facebook.com/northernbaycollege/

Since last newsletter Facebook has had a plethora of staff and student items focussed on RUOK day. This concept, perhaps particularly this year, has found resonance with many.

Again there is the weekly live Facebook chat with College Principal Scott Diamond.

This is attracting viewing figures and positive feedback from within and beyond the College.

Because of changes to information about the return to school process this has been changed to Friday at 2pm 18 September

There are a number of recognition on the site for students in senior years and it is heartwarming to see congratulations comments from friends, post staff and community members.

There a number of VCAL entries to share wellbeing and support for young people at this tie of social distancing and they need to be praised for their efforts as part of their learning program towards their certification.

And as always if our students have been up to great work in class, remote or on incursions / remote excursions there will be lots of examples of that they have achieved and enjoyed.

Finally there are items such as the message to prospective prep families explaining the small changes to the enrolment process for next year. Basically the video showcases preps in learning and tries to spread the word that it is time between now and late October to make sure families have told us that they will be enrolling next year.
