Learning Updates
- School of Innovation
School of Innovation students will return to onsite learning on Monday. We've been eagerly preparing for their return and can't wait to see everyone back at the college ready for a fun and exciting term four!
Well the votes have been counted! It is so very exciting to announce that our Learning Selections have been finalised and the class lists have been created. It was a fun but full-on process as we endeavoured to ensure all School of Innovation students were able to enter a Learning Selection that sparked their interest. We are so proud to say that on the whole we were able to meet the needs of our students. The Learning Selections will commence on Tuesday and students will find out on Monday what their two selections are. Exciting times ahead!
The Learning Selections that will be running in Term 4 are:
Move Your Body
CSI: Kialla - Forensic Exploration
Celebration Food
Junk Design and Engineering
Cherax Destructor
The Art of Writing
Feel the Need ... the Need for Seed
Marketplace
Made in Italy - Brands and Fashion
Animation Creation
You are the Star

Year 8 students completed an assessment towards the end of Term 3 relating to their inquiry "Exploration leads to change". Students were required to create an original animal, and place it into a habitat and food web with existing animals. Students excelled at this task and we saw some really creative pieces of work! There were animals made in dioramas, sketches, and even in Minecraft! Well done to all Year 8s who completed the task!

Hello everyone - WE DID IT (again)!!!
All St Anne's College students will be back on site next week! During distance learning 2.0 we again witnessed the students' incredible resilience, persistence and patience (especially with technology). They have all remained mostly positive during this COVID restriction period, and have made the most of the opportunities available to them. The St Anne's College community is extremely proud of each and every student and their families.
Wellbeing support available
Please remember, this is an extraordinary moment in time, we are facing a 'new normal' and it calls on all of us to support each other with great care, kindness and compassion.
Please reach out to myself or your Pastoral Group Leader if you need any wellbeing support in your transition back to onsite learning. The St Anne's College Wellbeing Google site provides students with an online space where they can explore a range of topics, resources, information and videos to support their overall wellbeing. It can only be accessed by St Anne's College students and staff. Here is the link:

Don't forget to check out the tabs located at the top of this Google site and explore resources such as coping skills, sleeping tips, social media safety and mindfulness.
Students are welcome to speak to me directly on campus, email or call me.

Late in 2019 we had the Carly Ryan Foundation present to Year 7 students and parents. The resources created by the organisation are valuable and beneficial to regularly revisit - their aim is for all young people to have a positive online experience.
