Principles of MSC Education:

When we talk about “being MSC”, I occasionally hear from parents that they are interested in what this means. To us at Monivae, it means that we all follow the principles of MSC education, which state, among other things, that

“The Heart is our code word and symbol that draws us to our mission”  and “we are God’s Heart on Earth”. Above all else, however, Monivae holds teaching through relationships as a core value of what we do.

During remote learning, this relationship is even more important to us, and as such, I ask that we all remember the words from 1 John 4: 7-8,

“Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God. Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love.”

Feast Day of the Assumption liturgy:

Thank you to all our students who helped put together a lovely liturgy to celebrate the Feast day of the Assumption of the Blessed Mary. Whilst it is not the same as gathering together to pray, providing an opportunity for others to join us online is important for us to continue to build relationships with each other.

This day has recently been celebrated as a mass with St Mary’s students and staff. As this could not occur this year, our liturgy was shared with them using the link below. If any of our extended family wish to watch the liturgy, they are more than welcome.

Joke of the Week: As part of keeping up our spirits, another joke…

A priest, a monk and a rabbit walk in to the blood bank.

The rabbit says “I think I might be a type-O”
