On-Site Study Guidelines

Parents of students attending on-site supervised study sessions should note the following and remind sons/daughters of these arrangements:

 

1. Mobile phone: allowed but should be placed in school bag on silent, for access only at lunch and recess

2. Flat computers: charge computers overnight, bring charger to school each day, devices can be charged also during recess and lunch in Study Hall.

3. The Library is only available for completing research, using resources available there.

20 Remote Learning Tips For Parents

 

1. Set (and keep) a schedule

2. Make sure they have any materials necessary to complete all assignments

3. Provide an environment conducive to learning

4. Create a daily plan

5. Don’t teach–help them understand

6. Make sure all work is completed

7. Help them check messages and communicate with school

8. Keep in mind that it’s about the child, not the work
