Performing Arts

Music Matters
It has certainly been a busy week in the Performing Arts as we rehearse for upcoming liturgies, masses and other performances.
Celebration of Learning: Congratulations and thank you to the Middle School Concert Band and their conductor, Ms Laura Power, for providing the music at the Celebration for Learning last week. The band sounded fabulous and really helped to make this even a wonderful celebration.
Save the dates! Jazz Performance opportunities:
Our Intermediate Jazz Band has been invited to perform at a concert hosted by the Northside Big Band at the Forestville RSL on Wednesday 13 September from 6:45 pm - 9:00 pm. Parents have been emailed information directly.
Our Senior Jazz Band has again earned a spot at the Manly Jazz Festival on Saturday 23rd September from 11:00 am – 11:45 am on the Jazz Stars of The Future Stage. We look forward to having our SPX community supporting our talented musicians us at these events for some foot tapping fun.
