Dear Families,

It was wonderful to welcome the students back on Tuesday, I think secretly many were pleased to be back with their friends and teachers.

I was inspired on Wednesday by the address from our Principal Mr Horne who shared his hopes and aspirations for our students as we begin the semester. A new semester always brings an opportunity for new beginnings and the chance to reflect on how we can do things a little better.

Making the Most of Your Opportunities: Education is a gift, and we want each one of our students to seize the opportunities that come their way. Embracing their studies, engaging in our co-curricular activities, and never being afraid to step out of their comfort zone.

Being Thoughtful and Kind to Each Other: In a world that sometimes feels divided, we believe in the power of kindness. Our students are constantly reminded of the importance of being thoughtful and considerate in their interactions with one another.

Approaching Every Opportunity with Positivity: Life is full of challenges, but we will continue to encourage our students to face them with a positive mindset. To embrace each new experience, whether it's a difficult assignment or a daunting project, with optimism.

Wearing Our Uniform with Pride: The uniform we wear is more than just a set of clothes. It allows a sense of belonging. When students put on their uniform and wear it with pride it signifies that they are part of something greater than themselves, a community that supports and encourages one another. By wearing the uniform correctly, we help staff focus on building meaningful relationships with students, creating more enjoyable interactions for everyone.

Taking Pride in Our Surroundings: We are fortunate to have wonderful facilities and opportunities within our school. Let us remember to appreciate and care for our surroundings. Take pride in keeping our classrooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces clean and tidy. By doing so, we create an environment that promotes learning, creativity, and overall well-being.

Wishing all students and families a successful and fulfilling Term 3.
