Yaama Everyone, 

During this term our Cultural Immersion students in Kindergarten to Year 4 will be exploring First Nations literature. Students will be reading a number of First Nations stories and books written by First Nations people. 

The books covered so far are:

Somebody's Land - Adam Goodes

Silly Birds - Gregg Dreise

Ceremony - Adam Goodes

Family - Aunty Fay Muir

Our First Nations students in Years 4, 5, and 6 will be continuing their independent research task on a topic of their choice in relation to their cultural interest. Some of the topics students are researching are: First Nations stories, history, language, and tools.
