General Information

Pupil Free Day

There will be a Pupil Free Day for all students on Monday 4th September. The staff will be attending a Professional Development Day in a collaborative initiative with the staff at St Joseph's Primary School Tenterfield.

School Uniform

Just a reminder that full winter uniform including a school tie, long sleeve blue shirt and black leather shoes must be worn Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Sports Uniform is worn on Wednesday and Friday. Students will change over into summer uniform at the commencement of  Term 4.

Student Absences

Due to Government Regulation, notification of your child's absence must be received no later than 7 days after your child's last day of absence. Please lodge all student absences on the Compass Parent Portal or notify the school.

Students must attend school regularly so they can achieve their educational best and increase their career and life options. Just one absence per fortnight adds up to 20 missed days per year; this equates to 260 days from Kindergarten to Year 6 or 1.25 school years!

School Student Broadband Initiative

The Australian Government is providing up to 30,000 unconnected families with school aged children across all states and territories with a free National Broadband Network (NBN)  connection for twelve months.

The School Student Broadband Initiative is an affordability measure to narrow the digital divide and boost education opportunities for students without access to home internet.

To be eligible, a family must:

  • Have a child living at home and enrolled in an Australian school in 2023
  • Have no active NBN service

If you wish to nominate for this service, please contact the school office.
