2023 Cunderdin Ag P&C Presidents Report
Well, my time as the Cunderdin Ag College president has come to an end and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the committee members for their help in making this a great P & C to be a part of. The opportunity to get to know some of the parents is difficult given I live over 5 hours from the College and this has been a great way to get to know some if not all of you.
Thanks to modern technology like Zoom it allows us parents who are 'distantly challenged' to attend meetings like this for our kids. After the shaky start of 2022 with COVID still a big thing in our schools and communities, it has been great to see that 2023 has been a relatively smooth sailing year.
It has been fantastic to see so many students thriving in their learning environment and doing the things that they love, be it farming or trades, or those students striving for more with their ATAR. We wish all the Year 12 cohort the best on their chosen endeavours for 2024 and beyond.
I know that they have made some amazing friends in their nearly two years at the College and hope that they can foster those friendships into the future. As part of the P&C, I am proud that we were once again able to help the school provide the Tomorrow Man/Woman workshops to the students through funding 50% of the program for them. I hope this is something that we can continue to help them with into the future.
After asking the students what things they feel like they needed at the College to make their time there more enjoyable, they came back to us with a relatively short list and we have been happy to be able to support them in the purchase of a new basketball ring and backboard, which I believe some of the construction students have installed now.
I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome our incoming committee and hope that they have a great time being part of a P & C who are passionate to provide the best learning environment that they can for their children.

Parent Night Year 11 and 12 while students are at their Ball - Saturday 2 September, tickets close 21 August 2023.
The P&C have organised dinner at Metro Bar and Bistro while the Yr11/12s are at their Ball.
