Prep 2024 Transition

On Wednesday 2nd August, our 2024 Foundation students attended their second transition session.

They counted to 5 with their hands through a story and song, The 5 Little ducks. They then made their own colourful headband of 5 ducks demonstrating their knowledge of  sequential  numbers to 5. The session ended with a fun Duck Dance. 

Whilst the students were busy the parents enjoyed the opportunity to have a cup of tea, coffee and bakery items. It was a great opportunity for families to mingle and also ask questions from our leadership team.

Our next session is scheduled for Wednesday 6th September. During this session the students will get a taste of Music, Physical Education and Mandarin activities at Good Shepherd.

We look forward to seeing them again very soon.

We also wish to thank our Year 6 Leaders who helped on the day. They showed such maturity and were a great support to both the new students, but also the teachers.
