Talk Money

On the 17th July, along with the following Tuesday 25th July, Years 5 and 6 studentsparticipated in an incursion funded by the Ecstra Foundation. This incursion was called 'Talk Money' and, as the name implies, teaches students about money. 

Throughout the span of the 245 minute sessions, students will learn about money phrases, stories and the types of payment. Along with this they also learned about the HEARD acronym (Hear don't just talk, Express wants and needs, Ask questions, Respect and Disagree). 

In the end students would be able to manage their spending and be able to save efficiently. Overall it was a fun and educational experience which all students enjoyed.
