VOCABULARY

Summary: A brief statement or account of the main points of something. 

Concise: Giving a lot of information clearly and in a few words. Brief but comprehensive. 

Succinct: Something that is written or spoken which is brief and clearly expressed.

Read a text with your child and ask them to write a concise and succinct summary of what they have read.
