Last week we had a wonderful time celebrating Book Week, culminating in the Book Week Parade and Open Morning on Friday.
Book Week is a fantastic way to celebrate a love of literature and books and our students enjoyed many fun activities throughout the week, in particular our two authors visits with Nova Weetman and Davina Bell.
It was lovely to see everyone dressed up in some amazing costumes on Friday and have so many parents attending the parade and Open Morning.
Thank you to Miss Mason and the Literacy team for an amazing Book Week.

Thank you to 2DG who headed outside for School Pride this week. Miss Greco said it was very difficult to find rubbish which is great to hear as our ultimate goal is not to have any rubbish at all in the yard.
A reminder that the Parent/Caregiver/Guardian Opinion Survey is open from Monday 7 August to Friday 8 September 2023. A link to the survey and how to access it was sent via an email to parents on Monday 7 August. All families are invited to participate in the survey.
The survey is conducted online, only takes 20 minutes to complete, and can be accessed at any convenient time within the survey period on desktop computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones. The online survey is available in English and 10 other languages including Arabic, Greek, Hakha Chin, Hindi, Japanese, Punjabi, Simplified Chinese, Somali, Turkish, and Vietnamese.
We are currently half way through our ICAS testing. Next week students who are participating will undertake the Science test and the following week the Maths test.
I will inform parents via a Compass post when the results are available. (Usually they are a few weeks after each test).
Certificates will be presented to students early next term.
