We are very excited to inform you that we have launched our annual Extend-a-Hand initiative for Term 3 2023.Each year, the Extend-a-Hand initiative lends support to an important cause and we encourage children, families and the wider school community to help make a difference. Extend has partnered with Connected AU to help combat loneliness in aged care homes across Australia through The Letterbox Project.

What is The Letterbox Project?
The Letterbox Project is a national pen pal program fostering connection and community, with handwritten letters being sent to people feeling isolated and disconnected.Writing letters invites children to discover the art of handwritten letters which is a life-long skill. The program will allow children to understand the issues of loneliness and teaches them the foundations of writing a letter.
