P&F Dates to Remember

• Friday 4th August – Casual Clothes Day “Wear your favourite sporting colours” day. AFL, Rugby, Netball, Dancing Group, Cricket, Hockey the list is endless. Cant wait to see all those wonderful teams we all love and support on full display. Gold Coin Donation.
• Thursday 31st August – Father’s Day Stall. All gifts $5.00 with plenty of wonderful options for our kids to buy multiple gifts for the special men in their lives.
• Saturday 21st October – Parents' Night Out
• Saturday 11th November – Ladies' Day Out

St Bs Cubby Village

We are so thrilled that through the generous donations and contributions to our Parents and Friends Group over the last 6 months, that we have been able to provide funding to the school for the purchase and install of a Cubby Village in our playground. These will be installed along the Aitken Street Fence line, the area has already been cleared and we anticipate the delivery of these new play spaces in the next month or so. What a great space this will be for all of our students to enjoy each play time!! This project has been funded entirely by our Parents and Friends Group totalling around $10,000.00

New Nudel Karts

We were also able to support the recent introduction of Nudel Karts by purchasing the Nudel Rover for $1,499.00 at the request of Mel and our teaching team. We are so glad that we can support the ideas and requests of our teaching team and loved seeing pictures of the kids enjoying the rollout of this latest learning and play time equipment.

School Disco 2023

Our School Disco held at the end of last term was a wonderful success. Thankyou to all of the staff and parent helpers who assisted with setup, overseeing the event itself and provided extra bits and pieces to jazz up our disco space, especially Emma Barker for the fabulous photo booth setup. Biggest thanks of the night goes to our resident DJ Elsum. WOW what a star you are Oscar, you had all the kids dancing the night away. It was so great to see so many smiley faces and happy kids enjoying their night. Thanks parents for your support as always.

Ladies Race Day, Saturday 11th November 2023.

Following some really great interest and to ensure we can include as many people as possible, we are moving our ladies' Race Day.

Our Ladies Day Out will now be locally in Gisborne on Saturday 11th November, fancy frocks and headpieces remain our theme of the day.

Further details will come as we have them confirmed.

It is sure to be a fabulous day out so be sure to SAVE THE DATE!

Your P&F team are so excited to be bringing The Colour Run back to St Brigid’s later this year.

$417.40 with our Tesselar Bulb Fundraiser, thanks to all who took part. Hope this rain is helping your newly planted bulbs take off.

$1,306.00 at our Mother's Day Stall. Thanks to all who helped on the day, we hope all those mums and mother figures in our community enjoyed their carefully selected gifts.

$196.115 at our Pyjama Casual Clothes Day. Who doesn’t love PJs at school?!

$815.00 at our School Disco woo hoo

$450.00 at our end-of-term Bake Sale. Our parents and adults in our school community continue to blow us away with your generosity to these bake sale days and your creativity. THANK YOU!!

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!

Your P and F Group have been speaking to Miss Mel about big-picture ways we can support this great school of ours.

We are so excited to announce that we have set the goal of raising $10,000 at our Parents Night Out and Kids Colour Run, both in the latter part of this year to SUPPORT THE COURT….. That’s right, give our basketball court a makeover with a new fresh surface and maybe even some cover/shade of some sort.

This $10,000 certainly won't get the project completed but it will give the kitty a good boost and get us that bit closer to having a fresh new basketball court for our kids to enjoy for years to come.

Pop the dates above in your diary and help us reach this goal!! Who knows, maybe we might even be able to raise more?!?!
