VCAL

VCAL

On the first day of VCAL at CSC, students were put to work learning management and preparation skills while designing their own classroom. This involved measuring the size of carpet tiles and finding the area of space that was required to be fitted. This entailed the students counting the amount of previously used carpet tiles in the office/ staff room and the spares in the storeroom. From this, students broke the room into composite shapes and calculated how many we will be using.

The learning structures for VCAL have also changed. VCAL students will be attending three full days at school and two days out of school doing work experience, SBAT/ Tafe courses or paid work. The new VCAL classroom will include personal lockers for students and they will be continuing with room decorating under student discretion. There will be, in the near future, a breakout room for students to use either during their classes or for studying during free periods.

In VCAL, we will be doing a range of projects such as, fundraisers and work around the school during 2020.
