Positive Behaviour 

Support (PBS) 

This term the school introduced Faction tokens to accompany GROW awards. Students awarded with GROW awards, now also receive a coloured token matching their Faction; Gwai, Moreau, Canning and Nairn. 

Tokens contribute to Faction points, and towards the overall Term tallies which decide the End of Term Reward winner. Faction Captains will tally these each week and display tokens outside the School Hall for everyone to see!

The new token system is a result of staff and student input. We are excited to see it become a regular and engaging way of promoting the 4R’s alongside a sense of pride in Factions.

PBS Expectations for Week 7  is Reach.

We show Reach by aiming high. We demonstrate this behaviour EVERYWHERE/ EVERY TIME when we show initiative.

This means 

• We do more than what has been asked of us
• We speak up and share our thoughts and ideas
• We say yes to opportunities when they arise 

PBS Expectations for Week 8 is Resilience.

We show Resilience by bouncing back and trying again. We demonstrate this behaviour INSIDE when we accept constructive feedback.

This means

• We think carefully about things we are told to improve our performance
• We use our feedback to improve our work
• We ask our teacher questions when we don't understand the feedback
