National Catholic Education Conference

Today I returned after three days in Melbourne at the National Catholic Education Conference. 2000 Catholic educators from across the country descended on Melbourne to learn and celebrate Catholic Education.

The conference reminded me how much Catholic Education has to celebrate. It reminded me why I am proud to not only be a principal of a Catholic School, but the principal of a very good Catholic School.

As each speaker presented, I listened contently, critiquing their research against the practices and procedures at St Nicholas. St Nicholas Primary School is not perfect, though the National Catholic Education Conference reinforced the quality and standard of education our students at St Nicholas receive.

As a principal I am proud to lead St Nicholas. As a parent I am extremely grateful my two children attend this school.
