Spotlight on Numeracy 

Each fortnight a different grade will be in the SPOTLIGHT sharing Numeracy inside the classrooms! 

Welcome to Numeracy in Year 1!

In Mathematics, Year 1 are learning about Area. Today we measured the surface area of our reading books using informal units. We talked about what shapes might leave gaps and we tried not to overlap when we used different informal units to measure with. We are learning how to be reflective Mathematicians!
