AEROBICS TEAM at the NATIONALS
Our amazing Aerobics team flew to Queensland to compete at the
National School Aerobics Championships. A great time was had by all and although we didn’t come away with a medal, the girls gave it their all and did their best.
Everyone at the Springs is incredibly proud of you.
MAGICAL GETAWAY DAY
On Friday 26th August, we celebrated the Magical Getaway Day by dressing in our favourite Holiday Gear. Everyone’s Gold Coin donation helped raise over $600 for a very special charity called the Magical Getaway Foundation.
The Magical Getaway Foundation is the only charitable foundation in Australia that gift first-ever getaways and holidays to vulnerable or disadvantaged Australian children and their families.
The Foundation would like to extend a huge thanks to everyone for your support. The money raised will go towards creating magical memories for children and families facing very challenging circumstances.
AUTHOR VISIT - MICHAEL WAGNER
On Thursday, as part of our Book Week celebrations, we were visited by the amazing author, Michael Wagner who has written over 80 books. He joined the Springs to tell us all about writing books and to share some incredible stories. Michael was great to listen to and had heaps of funny stories and tips on how to become a fantastic writer. We would like to thank Ms Parnall for organising his visit.
BOOK WEEK PARADE
Great to see the many amazing characters who visited the Springs today (Friday) at the annual Book Week parade.
