Welcome Back

Welcome back to the start of another new year at LNPS.  The commitment to student learning and to build a positive school community relations is as strong as ever as teachers are collaboratively planning for another innovative and exciting year, full of rich and meaningful learning experiences. 

Engaging learning is a combination of challenge and support – the learning we aim to provide for all learners within our school community. As a staff group we are looking forward to an exciting, busy and fulfilling year. 

So far LNPS has welcomed 70 new reception students, 17 students across other year levels and their families to our school.  We are confident that you too will soon feel like a part of this great school community at LNPS.

With the hot weather continuing well into February,  a friendly reminder that all students need to be wearing a broad brimmed hat. If students are not wearing their hat they miss out on running around at play times and cannot participate during outdoor activities or PE lessons. Please ensure that your child has a hat with their name clearly written  inside.

If families need to contact the school, email is the preferred and easiest way to contact school staff if you have any queries or wish to speak to someone.  All staff check their emails daily, and teachers will inform parents of their email addresses over the first two weeks via the Teaching and Learning Newsletters being distributed next Friday.

'Building Connections' Community Night 

Thursday 7th February 2018 // 5pm-7pm / Main Quadrangle 

In ensuring everyone makes a positive and great start to 2019 tomorrow's Community Night is an initial step in families building strong foundations with the school and the community. 

This evening will give families the opportunity to:

• meet LNPS staff, other families and community members
• enjoy a BBQ
• become informed about LNPS
• drop their business card for community and school access

Families are encouraged to 'mingle' with staff and other community members. Please feel free to bring a chair if you would prefer to sit. 

We look forward to seeing many of our community members coming along and enjoying the evening. 

2019 Annual General Meeting​

The 2019 Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday 11th February at 6:15pm in Tirkandi. Parents are invited to attend to gain more information about LNPS strategic directions and the 2018 Annual Report.
