PnC news
Hello families,
On 17 August we held our monthly PnC meeting alongside a crew of makers helping to craft gifts for the upcoming Father’s Day stall. Thanks to Gary, Chris, Andrew, Adele, Mansura, Zia, Mary, Luella, Claire, Jess, Katy, Ange and Tess for sharing your ideas and crafty skills!
At the meeting, we made plans for our upcoming events, including Father’s Day, the Bunnings BBQ, and the Comedy Night. Minutes of this meeting will be posted to Compass next week.
Bunnings BBQ
Our school has the opportunity to host the Bunnings Coburg North BBQ on Saturday 10 September. Bunnings BBQs are a great way to add funds to our school projects from the wider community. However, we need enough volunteers to make it work! If you have a couple of hours to lend a hand taking orders or turning snags, we’d very much appreciate your help. Sign up for a shift at:

Father’s Day events
We will be celebrating the special dads, granddads, and father figures in our lives on Friday 2 September with events throughout the day:
8.15am – Whole school breakfast
From 9am – Students visit the Father’s Day Gift Stall during class time. Gift prices range from $1-$10.
3pm – Hamper raffle prize draw
Gift stall & hamper donations
We are still welcoming donations of all kinds for our famous gift stall and raffle hampers.

We welcome donations of items for students to purchase at the gift stall:

Coffee Morning
Thanks to everyone who enjoyed a brew and a chat at our Coffee Morning on 16 August. A big thanks as always to George, our expert barista, as well as David, Tess, Ange, Kerrin and Becs for assisting and participating in training. Our next Coffee Morning will be held during the Whole School Breakfast on 2 September.

If you’re in the school grounds at pick-up or drop-off, swing by our Parents Noticeboard (near the Buddy Bench) to find out more about upcoming school social and fundraising events. You can also find out about upcoming events via Compass, our Facebook Group and WhatsApp groups.
As always, we recognise that not all parents & carers have the capacity to volunteer or donate to our fundraising efforts. We welcome all efforts, not matter how small.
