Multiage –Celebrating Learning

Multi-age Blackwood Camp

Our class went on the bus to the Blackwood School Camp and it was amazing fun. We all found our rooms and we unpacked and then we went to Team games. We had to work together and help each other because we did a Trust walk and one person was blindfolded, and we had to help them navigate through the course. The Canon shooting was fun because we shot plastic balls out of the canons and other people had buckets to catch them.

We did night Archery and we needed our torches to get there. Some people got a bullseye, and everyone tried their best.

We made Tacos for dinner and they tasted yummy.

On Day 2 we did mountain-biking at the park and then we did the climbing tower which was 7m high and everyone gave it a go and some people got right to the top and then they got to go down the zipline at the end.

In the afternoon we went to the creek to do gold-panning. We wore gumboots and we got a shovel and a pan and everyone was so lucky because everyone found some little pieces of gold and it was awesome fun.

We went to the Greendale Bistro for dinner and we had fish and chips or spag bol or schnitzel and ice-cream for dessert. After dinner we dressed up with wigs and streamers and we danced like crazy to our songs we put on the playlist.

On our last day we did the best activity, the High Ropes and Flying Fox and we had lots of goes and some people even did the high High Ropes.

We were all tired but very happy after our awesome and amazing camp.
