Archbishop's Forum 2023

On May 18th, a group of Year 7 and Year 8 students attended the Archbishop's Form on Welcome to LifeLink Day 2023. The students were able to meet with other students from all over the state to discuss Synodality - journeying together as people of God.

The students discussed the value of listening and dialogue between people as well as the importance of outreach to those less fortunate. The students were also able to share their ideas about the present and future of the Church with Archbishop Costello and Bishop Sproxton. The students represented the College with pride and contributed to discussions with thought and consideration, returning to the College inspired to continue to walk in the footsteps of Jesus by committing to serving others.

Rite of Commissioning - Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion

Today, at our Community Mass, we celebrated the Feast of Our Lady Mary, Help of Christians. Mary, Help of Christians is the Patroness of Australia.

At Mass, Mr Luke Johns was commissioned as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion. This means that Mr Johns is able to help Fr Mark during Mass to distribute Holy Communion to God's people.

Congratulations to Mr Johns on his commissioning, and we thank him for his faithful service to our Salvado Community.
