Careers and Course Selection Information Evening

Online information session (via Teams) for families in Years 8 -11. Join our online session for information on having:
- Careers conversations with your child
- Middle School Course Selection
- VCE Course Selection

Course Selection Key Dates
Year 8 into Year 9 2024

| Term 3 Weeks 1-2 | Middle School Course Selection Information | Information and instructions given to students via Year 8 Tutorial classes. Parents/carers will be emailed an overview and instructions via the Tutor teacher |
| Term 3 Weeks 3-4 | Middle School Course Selection Conversations | Course Selection conversation with students to be held during Tutorial class |
| Friday 4 August | Course Selection Due | Final day for Course Selection to be entered online and printed confirmation sheet returned to Tutorial teachers |

| Year 9 students will participate in career related activities, meet Course Counsellor, and begin Course Selection process |
| Thursday 20 July | VCE And Tertiary Expo | Tertiary Expo and VCE Subject Expo will open to students’ Periods 5 and 6, then families from 3.30–5.00pm on the Senior Campus |
| Tuesday 1 Aug | Course Selection Due | Final day for Course Selection to be entered online and printed confirmation sheet returned to the Middle School Coordinators Office |
| Tuesday 1 Aug | 'Application To Accelerate' Into VCE Or VCE VM Subject Due | Final day for 'Application To Accelerate' forms due to the Middle School Coordinators Office |

| Monday 31 July | VCE / VCE VM Taster Day | Students will attend selected VCE / VCE VM Class on this day to provide them with ‘Taster Classes’ of interest subjects. |
| Monday 31 July | Application To Continue A Unit 3 and 4 Study | Current Year 10 students undertaking a VCE Unit 1 and 2 subject will need to submit application paperwork to the Senior School Office |
| Tuesday 1 Aug | VCE VM Applications Due
| Students wishing to undertake VCE VM, applications due to the Senior School office |
| Wednesday 2 Aug | Course Selection Due | Final day for Course Selection to be entered online and printed confirmation sheet returned to the Middle School Coordinators Office |
