Dear Parents/Carers, Students and Friends

Teaching Innovation Fellowships

Congratulations to Ms Birra-li Ward and Ms Sarah Edwards who have been successful in being awarded a Teaching Innovation Fellowship through the Victorian Academy of Teaching and Leadership. We are extremely proud of them and their outstanding work with our students, and look forward to their work in exploring teacher and student collaboration across Art and Science to create real-world, problem-based learning solutions.

Reconciliation Week

We are recognising the importance of National Reconciliation Week (27 May to 3 June) which is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

The National Reconciliation Week 2023 theme, “Be a Voice for Generations” encourages all Australians to be a voice for reconciliation in tangible ways in our every day lives – where we live, work and socialise.

For the work of generations past, and the benefit of generations future, act today for a more just, equitable and reconciled country for all.

Examinations and assessments

At this time, of year our students are revising and studying for their assessment tasks and upcoming exams. We are proud of the way our students approach their learning, in being organised and prepared to learn, balancing their extra-curricular activities and commitments with their studies, and applying their best always to achieve success.

Key Dates 2023

Years 7 and 8 Maths Exam:  Wednesday 14 June

Years 9 and 10 Exams:  Tuesday 13 June and Wednesday 14 June

Year 11 Exams:  Wednesday 31 May – Thursday 8 June

Year 12 Assessment Week: Friday 2 June – Thursday 8 June 

General Achievement Test (GAT):  Thursday 15 June 

Modernisation Project

Thank you to Mrs Carolyn Florance who is overseeing the works to modernise spaces on our 7-10 Campus. There has been good progress made more recently, and we look forward to keeping you updated with key milestones. At this stage, the completion date for our new buildings is at the end of this year. Thank you also to Mr Glenn Davey for his efforts supporting the project.
