Ensembles Evenings

Our musicians have been preparing for the Ensembles evening for many months and are all very excited to share their musical growth. Ensemble music-making allows people to share responsibilities, coordinate their talents, collaborate and progress as a team. The concept of music ensemble making spans all cultural barriers and gathers together collective efforts to work towards a single shared goal. Students learn an instrument, and within a brief period, their sound is controlled, recognisable, and becomes something joyous to appreciate.

Girton Ensembles Concert is a testimony to the work of our students under the guidance of their passionate music teachers and is a significant milestone in their lives. Without the support of parents, students, our Acuting Head and the Board, the musical opportunities available for students at Girton would not exist. Thanks must go to all those who provide ongoing support to Music, the Friends of Performing Arts and particularly our Music Staff, who are so enthusiastic about their work.

The Senior School Ensembles Spectacular will be held on Tuesday 16th August, and the Junior School Showcase will be held on Wednesday 17th August at Ulumbarra Theatre.

Tickets will be on sale soon via GoTix.
