INSPIRING CURIOUS MINDS
The work that our Learning Specialists, Paul Dobney and Johanne Johanne Abbott, are doing to ensure that our mathematics curriculum is robust, engaging, and caters for the different needs of our students. Thank you!
I hope everyone is getting excited about book week next week! Remember to get your costume ready for next Friday.
We have noticed that there have been some birds swooping people in the kick-off area and from some of the trees nearby the school. Please be aware of this possibility when travelling to or from school.
At SMPPS we have been fortunate to have the wonderful Story Dogs program, but there are over 50 schools that are on their waiting list wanting the unique one-on-one reading sessions. Story Dogs needs your help to expand their volunteer teams to help children at these schools. They receive no Government funding.
Because every Australian child deserves to be able to read. Literacy is a skill for life.
The Story Dogs Giving Day is on the 26th of August. Help us raise funds for more Dog Teams. www.charidy.com/storydogs
