Principal's Report

MANNINGHAM DIVISION AFL WINNERS:

Congratulations to our amazing football team! They had a fantastic win against Templestowe Heights on Thursday. Huge thanks to our parents who have been terrific supporters all season, especially Tamara Kamphuis (managing all things) and Luke Gillies (umpiring). Congratulations also goes to Alysha Buzzini - for coaching the team all season! See our photo at the top of my page!

ENROLMENTS:

TOURS: I have been receiving positive feedback from prospective families regarding our School Tours. I take Grade 6 Leaders with me to help on the Tours and congratulations to all the leaders, you are doing a fantastic job proudly promoting Andersons Creek. The parents have commented on how impressed they are when the students speak and give their impressions of our school. Well done!

Enrolments are welcome for 2023. We are keen to receive enrolment forms as early as possible so we can plan for next year. Thank you so much.

BRIDGES PROGRAM:

The Bridges Program starts today which is really exciting with a number of pre prep students coming into ACPS. There are still a few vacancies for Bridges - please contact the Office if you know anyone who wishes to enrol.

Today Ms O'Sullivan read The Very Hungry Caterpillar with some activities for our new students to work on. Thanks to our Grade 6 leaders who are helping with Bridges, this week it was Cooper, Hamish, Rosalie and Millah.

CURRICULUM DAY: Tuesday July 26 is our next Curriculum Day - students are not required at school.  Theircare will be open form 7am until 6.30pm - bookings are now open.

THANK YOU:

Thank you to all the families and staff who have reached out to check that I am ok. I really appreciate it. It reminds me what a strong community we are.

See you back at ACPS on Monday!
