Foundation
Foundation students have made it to the end of the term! They have all achieved a lot this term, settling into a new learning environment and learning the routines of school procedures.
Over the last fortnight, we have again been very busy! We celebrated our school’s cultural diversity with Harmony Day. We listened carefully to musical performances, dressed up in traditional clothing and spent time with our buddies doing some fun activities. It was special to learn from our Indigenous Elder Aunty Irene and participate in a cultural smoking ceremony.
Our buddies surprised us with our German Schultüten. We want to thank our German teachers Frau Taylor, Frau Lindner and Frau Kent for their preparation. The students love their Schultüten and enjoy learning new things in German.
Wow! We had so much fun at the SEDA inflatables! We practised our throwing and catching skills, batting and running. It was so much fun!
