COOKING: Students have loved learning how to make Apple and Cinnamon scrolls from scratch and have also enjoyed devouring them at the end! This week we began Rotation 3 and the students made a yummy Rainbow Pasta Salad. Rotation 3 continues next term as per the timetable above.
GARDENING: Students focused on keeping our beautiful gardens tidy and helping Paddy to maintain the garden beds and vegie patches ready for planting new seeds.
SUSTAINABILIY: Students completed the rotation on ‘War on Waste’ and this week began Rotation 3 titled ‘Waste in our Oceans’. They will be investigating how waste enters our waterways and the impact this has on our marine animals.
SCIENCE: Students completed the ‘Healthy Eating Healthy Living’ topic last week and this week began Rotation 3 which is titled ‘Fresh vs Process Foods’. Students investigated how fresh food changes after harvesting and during the manufacturing process to becoming what we now know as ‘processed food’.
