Middle School

Middle School Update
As Term 4 progresses we are actively planning for the 2019 timetabling/classes. Year 7 and 8 students were asked to nominate their preferences for classes during their recent assemblies. We then work hard to develop these into viable classes within the restraints of the timetable.
Every year we are impressed by the maturity and thought that our students put into this task, and this year is no different. It is at times amazing to see the personal growth and development which each and every middle school student shows over the course of a year at the College.
It is an exciting time at the College as the senior school students enter exam mode, the middle school students become leaders within the College.
As such we will be looking for our 2019 Middle School Captains in the upcoming weeks (from our existing year 8 cohort). This is a fantastic opportunity for developing/aspiring leaders to grow within their peer group and to feed into the ongoing improvement of the college culture/operations.
The year 9 students are starting to prepare for the end of year exams in their core classes, finalising assessments to allow for focussed revision time/skills development.
We also have our upcoming year 9-10 transition camp to ‘The Summit’ to look forward to (December 12-14) which is in the final stages of preparation – please ensure that all payments and paperwork has been returned.
