Information Evenings
Thank you to those parents who attended the information evenings held over the past few weeks. These are important for delivering information and giving you an opportunity to ask questions. Next week we have the Parents and Friends sponsored Prep and Year 7 Parent Social Evenings to assist parents to get to know each other and feel part of the community.
2018 College Leaders
On Wednesday we inducted the 2018 College Leaders. Congratulations to all those students who will be taking on leadership roles in 2018. In the Leaders Assembly, students were reminded about some important leadership lessons, including:
- Great leaders have a mentor, someone they could look to for advice.
- Great leaders are great teachers, they help others learn.
- Great leaders have a plan, they know what it is they want to do.
- Great leaders persevere, especially when things get tough.
- Great leaders find the balance, they find the balance when they feel pulled in many directions.
Finally, they were reminded about the importance of focusing on communication, motivation, how they interact with others and being flexible. Please see list attached.
Parents & Friends News
The Parents and Friends are organising a great Outdoor Movie event on Friday 16 March. Please come along and enjoy this great community experience.

Petition: Mickleham Road Duplication
Please continue to return petitions to the school office. I will present these to the Local Member, Ros Spence, in early March for tabling in parliament. Anyone impacted by the use of Mickleham Road can sign the petition. If you have signed previous petitions you can still sign this new one. All petitions need to be returned to Reception by Friday 2 March.
