School Sports Victoria Senior Summer Sports Day

Welcome to the new year of sport. We began on Tuesday 13 February when students from Years 11-12 represented Aitken College in School Sports Victoria Woodlands Division. They competed against a number of different schools within the Hume City Council. See attached results from the day.

All teams participated well and enjoyed the day out at sports. Good luck to the senior boys cricket team progressing through to the Northern Metropolitan Region which will be held on Friday 23 February. Students and parents can keep up-to-date with the latest information, sports dates and rules, via the School Sports Victoria website:

School Sports Victoria Intermediate Summer Sports Day

On Monday 19 February, tennis players from Years 9-10 and Years 11-12 represented Aitken College in School Sports Victoria Woodlands Division. They competed against a number of different schools within the Hume City Council.  See attached results from the day.

All teams participated well and enjoyed a fun day out at sports. Congratulations to the senior boys and girls tennis teams who have progressed to the Northern Metropolitan Regional finals on Thursday 19 April. Senior Girls Softball Results

  • Game 1: Aitken College v Gladstone Park - (Aitken 3; Gladstone Park 17)
  • Game 2: Aitken College v Roxborough Park - (Aitken 17; Roxborough Park 6)

The team played well in both games. A special mention to Grace and Mikayla, who took several spectacular catches! Well done girls!
